Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🍲✨
-
Start cooking the diced potatoes. Cut the potatoes into small cubes and cook them in boiling salted water over low heat for about 15-20 minutes, until tender
-
Cut the meat. Cut the meat into smaller cubes
-
Cut the carrots. Cut the carrots into slices
-
Sear the meat. Sear the meat in a pan over medium to high heat for about 4-5 minutes, until it seals and turns lightly golden
-
Add the carrots. Add the carrots and saute over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes so they soften slightly
-
Add the stock cube. Add the stock cube and a little water (or use stock) and braise over low heat for about 5 minutes so the meat combines with the sauce
-
Add the peas. Finally add the peas and cook over low heat for another 1-2 minutes
-
Slice the spring onion. Slice the spring onion and separate the white and green parts
-
Make the smashed potatoes. Briefly sweat the white part of the onion in a pot over low heat for about 1-2 minutes, add the cooked potatoes, butter, and mash everything into a puree
-
Serve. Serve and enjoy the dish 🍲🥔✨
