Head chef

Marco Giampaoli is the head chef of the Italian restaurant Aromi in Prague, where he combines traditional Italian cuisine with modern techniques. His culinary career began by chance during a study stay in Scotland, where he discovered his passion for cooking. After returning to the Czech Republic, he gained his first experience at an Italian restaurant in Most and later worked at the prestigious Wine Food Market in Prague, where he quickly rose to the position of sous chef.

Senior sous chef

Alexandre Marchetti, Senior Sous Chef at the Andaz Prague hotel, has an exceptional culinary background that includes working in some of the most prestigious kitchens around the world. His career has taken him to Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels in France, Japan, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. Alexandre specializes in modernizing traditional French cuisine, emphasizing respect for ingredients, precise cooking techniques, and innovative flavor combinations.

An experienced Italian chef who brings flavors and inspiration from five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants straight into the home kitchen. He sees cooking as a joy and a form of sharing—showing that even simple dishes can taste restaurant-quality and that anyone can truly prepare them at home.

I am a passionate food lover who loves cooking for my family. My mother and grandmother taught me to cook and I happily continue the family traditions. I am a former cocktail bar owner and have been in the gastronomy industry for over 12 years. I love unconventional flavor combinations, I enjoy experimenting, collecting authentic recipes and traveling for new culinary experiences.
