  1. Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🍗✨

  2. Cut the onion. Cut the onion into larger cubes

  3. Cut the pepper. Cut the pepper into larger pieces

  4. Portion the chicken. Cut the whole chicken into quarters (or you can bake it whole, but the baking time will be longer)

  5. Season the chicken. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and coat it with crushed caraway seeds and ground paprika

  6. Bake the chicken with vegetables. Put the onion, pepper, and chicken quarters into a roasting dish, add pieces of butter on the chicken, and bake in the oven at 200 C for about 30-40 minutes, until the meat is cooked through and golden

  7. Prepare the roux. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce - in a saucepan, melt the remaining butter over medium heat, add the flour and saute until a light brown roux forms

  8. Cook the sauce base. Add the ground paprika and briefly saute it over medium heat for about 1 minute, then pour in water, add the spices, and cook for about 20 minutes

  9. Add the sauce to the chicken. Strain the finished sauce through a sieve onto the chicken, cover the roasting dish, and bake for another about 20 minutes at 200 C

  10. Finish the sauce. Take out the chicken and set it aside, blend the sauce, add the cream, and cook over low heat for another about 10 minutes

  11. Cook the elbow macaroni. Meanwhile, cook the elbow macaroni in boiling salted water according to the package instructions over medium heat

  12. Debone the meat. At the same time, remove the meat from the baked chicken bones, or serve it with the bones

  13. Serve the dish. Serve 🍗🍽️✨
