Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. This is what you'll have on the plate – pasta with chicken and a smooth bean sauce; prepare the ingredients beforehand so the work flows smoothly 🍝🔥
-
Chop the onion. Dice the onion into small cubes.
-
Chop the bell pepper. Dice the bell pepper into small cubes.
-
Prepare the chicken. Cut the chicken breasts into smaller pieces, season with salt and pepper and lightly drizzle with oil.
-
Cook the pasta. Cook the pasta in a pot according to package instructions, approximately 7–9 minutes al dente.
-
Sear the chicken. Heat oil in a saucepan and sear the chicken on high heat for about 2–3 minutes to seal it.
-
Sauté the vegetables. Set the chicken aside and, in the same saucepan, sweat the onion and bell pepper until softened and translucent, about 2 minutes over medium heat
-
Prepare the sauce. Add paprika powder, sauté briefly, add the beans with a little of their liquid, add water and simmer for about 5 minutes.
-
Finish the sauce. Blend the sauce with the sour cream until smooth, return the chicken to it and cook for a few more minutes.
-
Serve. Serve with the cooked elbow pasta 🍽️✨
