Steps to cook
-
Preparation of Ingredients. Prepare all ingredients – chicken breast, grilling spice and young potatoes. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (upper/lower heat) and prepare a baking dish.
-
Preparation of Potatoes. Wash the young potatoes thoroughly (if they have nice skin, leave them unpeeled) and cut them into halves or quarters depending on size. Place them in the baking dish.
-
Preparation of Chicken Meat. Pat the chicken breasts dry and add them to the baking dish with the potatoes. Season everything with salt and pepper and sprinkle with grilling spice.
-
Preparation Before Roasting. Lightly drizzle everything with oil (so the spice doesn't burn) and arrange in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven at 200 °C for about 20 minutes.
-
Turning and Finishing Roasting. Stir and turn the potatoes, flip the chicken. Roast in the oven at 200 °C for another 10–15 minutes until the potatoes are tender and golden and the chicken is cooked through.
-
Resting and Serving. Let the dish rest for 2–3 minutes and serve hot.
