Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients and lay them out on the work surface - we will cook with them step by step 🍗🥔
-
Cut the potatoes. Peel the potatoes and cut them into larger pieces.
-
Cut the garlic. Slice the garlic.
-
Brown the chicken. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium to high heat, add the chicken, and brown it for about 3 minutes so it sears and turns lightly golden.
-
Add the garlic. Add the garlic and briefly saute over medium heat for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
-
Reduce the wine. Pour in the white wine and let it gently reduce over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
-
Cut the onion. Clean the onion and slice it.
-
Add the onion. Add the onion to the meat and saute over medium heat for about 3 minutes, until it softens slightly.
-
Add the potatoes. Add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and stir briefly.
-
Add liquid and cover. Add water (or add bouillon dissolved in water, or use stock if you have it) so that the potatoes are almost submerged, bring to a boil over medium heat, and cover with a lid.
-
Simmer the dish. Cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
-
Chop the parsley. Finely chop the parsley (optional).
-
Serve. Optionally stir in the chopped parsley and serve immediately 🍽️✨
