Coconut Balls

Note: to make about 15 balls select 2 servings. A more modern take on the confection. This is essentially a homemade recipe for the popular Raffaello-style coconut balls; who wouldn't like them, right?

What you will need

Coconut grated 62.5 g -
Condensed milk 100 g

Almonds 25 g -
Walnuts 20 g

Steps to cook

Prepare the ingredients. Prepare the ingredients.

Crush the nuts. Put the nuts into a bag and crush them with a mallet (or pulse them in a food processor).

Mix condensed milk and coconut. Mix the sweetened condensed milk, 2/3 of the coconut (save some for coating) and the crushed nuts. Optional: if the dough is sticky, chill it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

Form the balls. Take a piece of dough, shape it into a patty, place an almond or another nut in the center and roll into a ball.

Coat in coconut. Roll the balls in coconut.

Serve. Serve 🍽️✨
