Steps to cook

10 steps · 25 min cook
  1. Připravte ingredience. This is what will be on your plate – prepare the ingredients in advance so the work goes smoothly.

  2. Uvařte brambory. Bring a pot of well-salted water to a boil, add the potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes, until they begin to soften (check with a fork).

  3. Nakrájejte ředkvičky. Wash and trim the radishes, then slice them thinly.

  4. Uvařte fazolky. After the potatoes have cooked for 15 minutes, add the green beans to the same pot and cook for about 5 more minutes (if fresh), so they are tender but still slightly crisp. If using frozen, 2–3 minutes is sufficient (but check the potatoes).

  5. Připravte vinaigrette. Meanwhile, make the vinaigrette by whisking together mustard, olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper into a smooth dressing.

  6. Zchlaďte zeleninu. Drain the cooked potatoes and beans and immediately plunge them into cold water to stop the cooking process and preserve the color.

  7. Rozkrájejte brambory. If the potatoes are large, cut them in half or quarters so the bites are even.

  8. Nasekejte petržel. Optionally, finely chop the parsley.

  9. Smíchejte salát. Place the potatoes, green beans, and radishes into a salad bowl.

  10. Servírujte. Optionally add the chopped parsley, pour over the vinaigrette, season with additional salt and pepper to taste, and gently toss everything. Serve as a light salad or a side dish.
