Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🥔✨
-
Cut the potatoes. Peel the potatoes and cut them into smaller pieces
-
Cook the potatoes and melt the butter. Put the potatoes to boil in salted water and cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until tender; meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat
-
Sear the pork neck. Season the pork neck slice with salt and sear it in a hot pan over higher heat for about 3 minutes on each side until golden, then let it rest in a warm place
-
Saute the garlic and spinach. In the pan where you seared the meat, slowly saute the pressed garlic over low heat for about 1 minute, add the spinach and let it wilt until it loses its volume
-
Mix the spinach with cream. Mix the sauteed spinach with sour cream and season with salt, pepper, and olive oil
-
Prepare the potato dough. Press, mash, or pass the cooked potatoes through a sieve into a pot (they should be hot - if they have cooled, briefly warm them over low heat), add the flour, cover, and let them steam for a few minutes
-
Shape the dumplings. Mix into a dough, season with salt, and use a spoon dipped in butter to shape the dumplings directly onto a plate
-
Serve the dish. Serve with the seared pork neck and spinach dip 🥔🍽️✨
