Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🍜✨; for better results, you can soak the rice noodles in cold water in advance for 30-60 minutes
-
Chop the ginger. Finely chop the ginger
-
Let the broth infuse. In a pot, combine demi-glace with water in a 1:10 ratio (for 1 serving, 25 g demi-glace and 250 ml water), add the ginger and star anise (optionally also the coriander stems), and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes so the broth develops a lovely aroma
-
Chop the coriander. Coarsely chop the coriander
-
Slice the onion. Slice the onion into thin strips
-
Cook the noodles. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions (if you soaked them in advance, they will be ready faster), then drain
-
Strain the broth into a bowl. Strain the broth and season with fish sauce and salt to taste
-
Serve. Place the onion, coriander, noodles, and thin slices of raw beef into a bowl, pour over the hot broth, which will gently cook the meat, and serve immediately 🍜🥩✨
