Salmon with Viennese Potato Salad

This version of a Christmas dish will be especially appreciated by people who want to eat more healthily over the Christmas holidays. Viennese potato salad is a less fatty version of potato salad, and combined with salmon it offers a balanced meal.

What you will need

Salmon 100 g -
Potatoes 200 g -
Red Onion 0.5 pcs -
Pickles 2 pcs

Mustard 1 tbsp -
Apple Cider Vinegar 2 tbsp -
Beef bouillon 0.25 pcs

Steps to cook

Prepare the ingredients. Prepare the ingredients.

Cook the potatoes. Put the potatoes with skins into cold salted water and cook until tender (about 25 minutes). If you want to save time, you can peel the potatoes and slice them.

Optional: Add bouillon. Optional: Add bouillon to the potatoes to give them more flavor.

Dice the cucumber. Dice the cucumber.

Dice the onion. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.

Cut the salmon. Clean the salmon and cut into strips.

Pan-fry the salmon. Pan-fry the salmon in olive oil for about 3 minutes over medium heat

Mix the dressing. In a bowl put salt, pepper, apple cider vinegar and mustard and gradually whisk in a little oil.

Cool the potatoes. Chill the potatoes under cold water or let them cool. Then peel them and cut into larger pieces.

Mix the potatoes with the dressing. Mix the potatoes with the dressing and the onion.

Serve. Serve the Viennese salad with the salmon 🍽️✨
