Steps to cook

  1. Prepare the ingredients. Prepare the ingredients; today's dish will be made from these ingredients 🥩✨

  2. Mix the meat. Mix the minced meat with some of the milk, half of the eggs, nutmeg, and some of the breadcrumbs, mix well, season with salt and pepper, and chill briefly in the refrigerator (if the mixture is too loose, add more breadcrumbs to make a firm burger-like mass). Optionally, you can add cheese if you want

  3. Cut the potatoes. Peel the potatoes and cut them into smaller pieces

  4. Boil the potatoes. Put the potatoes in salted water and boil over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until tender

  5. Boil the eggs. Place the eggs in boiling salted water and boil over medium heat for about 6.5 minutes for soft-boiled, then cool them in cold water and peel them

  6. Shape the patties. Form patties from the meat mixture, place ham and the peeled egg in the center

  7. Shape the balls. Shape into balls so that the meat completely coats the egg

  8. Coat in breadcrumbs. Coat in breadcrumbs - first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs

  9. Fry. Fry the balls in hot oil over medium to medium-high heat for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown, then transfer them to the oven and finish baking for about 5-10 minutes

  10. Mash the potatoes. Drain the cooked potatoes and press them through a sieve or potato masher

  11. Mix the potatoes. Mix the potatoes with butter and milk and beat into a smooth mash

  12. Cut the egg in half. Cut the Scotch egg in half

  13. Serve. Serve 🍽️✨
