Method

Steps to cook

6 steps · 24 min cook
  1. Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 180 C 🐟✨

  2. Cut the onion. Peel the onion and slice it into thin strips

  3. Cut the tomato. Cut the tomato into small dice

  4. Saute the onion, deglaze with wine, and add the olives and capers. Heat the olive oil in a pan, saute the onion over medium heat for about 1 minute, add the tomatoes, deglaze with wine if needed, and cook for about 3 minutes until the liquid has almost evaporated; finally add the olives and capers, season with salt and pepper, and stir well (instead of wine, you can use a little of the brine from the capers or olives)

  5. Bake in the oven. Line a baking dish with parchment paper, spread half of the sauce on the bottom, add the fish, put the garlic and, if desired, herbs inside, season with salt and pepper, spoon the rest of the sauce on top, and drizzle with olive oil. Cover with parchment paper and wrap tightly into a papillote. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes at 180 C, until the fish is cooked through

  6. Serve. Remove from the oven, carefully open the papillote, and serve 🐟🍽️✨
