Steps to cook
-
Prepare all ingredients. This is what awaits on your plate – spaghetti with a fragrant tomato sauce, herbs and Parmesan 🍅🌿🍝 Prepare all your ingredients in advance so cooking goes smoothly ✨
-
Chop the garlic. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
-
Chop the parsley. Finely chop the parsley.
-
Sauté the garlic with chili. Heat the olive oil in a pan over low to medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and chili and sauté for about 2 minutes, until fragrant (the garlic should not brown).
-
Add the herbs. Optionally add parsley and basil and sauté for another about 2 minutes over low heat to let the herbs release their aroma.
-
Add the tomato sauce. Add the tomato sauce and cook for another 2 minutes over medium heat to let the flavors meld.
-
Cook the spaghetti. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, salt it and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. If you've already thrown them away, cook for about 7-9 minutes
-
Toss with the sauce and season. Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan with the sauce and toss well. Sprinkle with a little Parmesan.
-
Divide onto plates. Divide the spaghetti onto plates, spoon over the tomato sauce, sprinkle with cheese and optionally garnish with basil. You can also lightly sprinkle chili powder.
-
Serve. Buon appetito 🍝🧀🔥
