By chef Gulasch

  1. Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we'll be cooking with them in a moment 🍝🥩✨

  2. Cut the onion. Finely chop the onion

  3. Cut the tomatoes. Cut the tomatoes in half

  4. Mix the meat mixture. Put the ground meat in a bowl, add the finely chopped onion, tomato passata, pressed garlic and dried seasoning, mix thoroughly and let it rest in the fridge for at least 20 minutes (you can skip this step)

  5. Form the meatballs. Grease a medium-sized baking dish with olive oil and form balls from the meat mixture and arrange them in it

  6. Pre-bake with tomatoes. Add the tomatoes cut in half, drizzle with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for about 15 minutes

  7. Pour over the sauce and finish baking. Meanwhile, mix the remaining passata with the remaining pressed garlic, half of the grated cheese, a teaspoon of dried seasoning, salt, pepper, pour the mixture over the baking dish with the meatballs and tomatoes, gently mix and bake in the oven at 200 C for another about 15 minutes

  8. Cook the spaghetti. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water over medium heat for about 8 minutes until just tender (al dente)

  9. Mix and serve. Add the spaghetti to the baking dish, mix, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, optionally garnish with fresh basil and serve straight from the baking dish 🍽️✨
