Swedish Meatballs with Lingonberries

What you will need

Minced pork 100 g -
Potatoes 200 g -
Pickled lingonberry 20 g -
Eggs 1 pcs -
Breadcrumbs 0.5 tbsp

Milk 50 ml -
Butter 0.5 tbsp -
Beef bouillon 0.5 pcs -
Plain Flour 1 tbsp

Steps to cook

Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will start cooking from them in a moment 👩🍳✨

Cut and boil the potatoes. Cut the peeled potatoes into larger pieces and boil in salted water over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, until tender

Prepare the meatballs. Mix the ground meat, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper, and shape into balls

Brown the meatballs. Fry the meatballs in a pan over medium heat for about 4 minutes on all sides until golden brown, to seal them

Prepare the roux. Add butter and flour to the pan after the meatballs and, over low heat and stirring constantly, prepare a roux

Add the stock and cook the meatballs. Add the stock cube and water (or stock), add the meatballs, and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes

Whip the mashed potatoes. Whip the cooked potatoes with milk and butter into a smooth mash and season with salt, or press them through a potato ricer or fine sieve

Serve with cranberries. Serve with cranberries 🍽️✨
