Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 200 C - we will cook step by step from them 🍳✨
-
Toast the bread. Lightly butter the bread slices on one side and toast them in a pan over medium heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
-
Spread with garlic and mustard. Remove them from the pan and spread the toasted side with garlic and mustard.
-
Add the roast beef. Add the slices of beef ham.
-
Add the pickles. Add pickled cucumbers and, if desired, a little onion.
-
Add the cheese. Place cheddar slices on top so they cover the entire surface.
-
Close the sandwich. Cover with the second slice of bread.
-
Toast the sandwich again. Toast the sandwich again in a pan with a little butter over medium heat on both sides for about 1-2 minutes and lightly weigh it down so it cooks evenly.
-
Bake in the oven. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese melts.
-
Serve. Serve hot, cut in half 🍽️✨
