  1. Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 175 C cake emoji sparkle emoji

  2. Preheat the oven. Grease the pan with olive oil and dust it with flour or line it with baking paper.

  3. Beat the eggs with sugar. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and beat for about 3-5 minutes, until the mixture lightens and becomes frothy.

  4. Add the liquid ingredients. Pour in the olive oil and orange juice, add the grated orange zest and mix until smooth.

  5. Mix the dry ingredients. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt.

  6. Combine the mixtures. Gradually work the dry mixture into the liquid mixture and mix only until combined so the batter stays fluffy.

  7. Pour the batter into the pan. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface with a spatula. Bake in the oven at 175 C for about 35-40 minutes

  8. Bake the cake. Take it out of the oven and check with a skewer. If it comes out clean, it is done. If a little batter appears on it, bake for another 5-10 minutes

  9. Let cool. Garnish and serve. After baking, let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack and let it cool completely. Before serving, you can dust with powdered sugar or garnish with orange slices and serve plain or with Greek yogurt or sour cream orange emoji sparkle emoji
