Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🥗✨
-
Prepare the beans. Drain the white beans, rinse under cold water, and let them drain well.
-
Prepare the tuna. Drain the tuna, but you can leave a little of the oil for flavor.
-
Slice the onion. Peel the red onion and slice it into thin rounds.
-
Slice the tomatoes and parsley. Wash the cherry tomatoes, halve them, and rinse the parsley and chop it finely.
-
Combine the ingredients. In a large bowl, combine the beans, tuna, tomatoes, and onion.
-
Season the salad. Add olive oil, optionally wine vinegar, and season with salt and pepper.
-
Toss. Optionally add the parsley and gently toss so the flavors combine, but the tuna stays in chunks, then let the salad rest for 5-10 minutes at room temperature.
-
Let rest. Serve with fresh bread or as a standalone light meal 🥖✨
