Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients and lay them out on the work surface – we will cook step by step from them 👩🍳🥘 and preheat your oven to 200°C
-
Stuff the fish. Rub the scaled and gutted sea bass with olive oil; inside place thyme, parsley and 1/4 lemon
-
Make the salt crust. In a bowl mix the salt with a little water to the consistency of wet sand (in the video coarse salt is half mixed with fine salt, but it is enough to use only fine salt)
-
Coat the fish in the salt crust and put to bake. Place the fish on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and cover with the salt crust so that the tail fin and eyes are visible. Bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
-
Cook the potatoes. While the fish is baking, cook the potatoes in salted water until tender (approx. 20 minutes)
-
Remove the fish and break the crust. After the fish is cooked, break the salt crust and remove the fish
-
Serve. Serve either whole or deboned and skinned, with potatoes and lemon 🍽️😋
