  1. Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 190 C 👩‍🍳✨

  2. Melt the chocolate. Melt most of the chocolate in a water bath - place it in a metal bowl over a pot of hot water and melt it, stirring occasionally

  3. Chop the chocolate. Chop the remaining chocolate into small pieces

  4. Whisk the eggs. Crack the eggs into a large bowl, add the sugar and baking powder, and whisk for about 5 minutes until light and fluffy

  5. Combine with the milk. Pour the milk into the melted chocolate and stir

  6. Add the oil and flour. Add the oil and mix for about 2 minutes, then sift in the flour and mix for another 2-3 minutes

  7. Mix everything together. Pour in the chocolate and milk mixture and mix thoroughly

  8. Fold in the chopped chocolate. Add the chopped chocolate to the batter and mix

  9. Prepare the pan. Grease the pan with oil, dust with flour, and pour in the batter

  10. Prepare the pears. Peel the pears, cut them into eighths, and remove the cores

  11. Decorate the cake and bake. Arrange the pears on the batter, sprinkle with sugar, and bake in the oven at 190 C for about 40 minutes, until the batter is baked through

  12. Finish and serve. Remove from the oven, dust with powdered sugar, and serve 🍽️✨
